Suzy Jane Hunt

Suzy Jane Hunt is a performer, educator, writer, and researcher whose work spans stage, screen, and academia. On Broadway, she has appeared in I Need That, Leopoldstadt, How I Learned to Drive, Dear Evan Hansen, and Dead Accounts. On television, she is best known for her four-season role as Alice on FX’s The Americans. Additional TV and film credits include recurring roles such as Agent Schiffman on CBS’s Person of Interest, as well as appearances in The Good Wife, The Blacklist, Blindspot, Elementary, and Collateral Beauty.
Alongside her professional acting career, Suzy is deeply committed to teaching and research. She serves on the faculty of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, NYU Steinhardt, and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). She is also an active ensemble member of the Verbatim Performance Lab, a collective of researchers and artists who use verbatim theater to investigate and challenge social perceptions of gender, race, and politics. With the Lab, she notably portrayed Brett Kavanaugh in The Kavanaugh Files.
Suzy holds a Bachelors in Theatre Performance from the University of Evansville and a Masters in Educational Theatre from New York University.
