Luis Ángel Mondragón

  • Voice & Speech

Luis Ángel Mondragón(he/him) is a Los Angeles-based actor, director, teacher, and multidisciplinary artist. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of California, Irvine, and completed the professional conservatory program at the Stella Adler: Art of Acting Studio of Los Angeles. In 2026, he was awarded the Clyde Vinson Memorial Scholarship by the Voice and Speech Trainers Association(VASTA), recognizing his commitment to excellence in voice and speech training.

His teaching philosophy centers on empowering students to become confident, self-sufficient artists who can continue developing their voice and speech practice long after they leave the classroom. Film credits include Órale (Outfest Film Festival Grand Juror Award), ROSA, Mía. Theatre credits include Borracho: Spanish for Drunken Bum(Hollywood Fringe Festival Award Winner), Rio Grande Anthology (Pasadena Playhouse), Lydia(Brown Bag Theatre Company).
