J. Claude Deering
- Acting Technique, Scene Study
J. Claude Deering has taught scene study and acting technique for over fifteen years at the Art of Acting Studio. He obtained his BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, while studying at Stella Adler Studios. He’s also trained at The Groundlings and The Actors’ Gang. His theater credits include two seasons at the Tony Award-winning Williamstown Theatre Festival. He is also a member of the Lincoln Center Theater Directors LAB. He currently recurs as cyber team member and aspiring probie “Curtis Hubley” on “NCIS” (CBS). Additional film and TV credits include “Beef” (Netflix), Night Always Comes (Netflix), “9-1-1” (ABC), Side Effects (Open Road / dir. Steven Soderbergh), The Ugly Truth (Columbia Pictures), “Entourage” (HBO), and recurring roles on “12 Deadly Days” (Blumhouse), and “Inside the Box” (Shondaland / ABC).
